What People's Say About Place

I loved this place! The brick old-time exterior deceives one and gives way to a more modern but still comfortable interior. The decorations are nice, and it is spacious enough for good conversation without other people breathing down your neck and eavesdropping about your abdominal cramps or whatever y'all discuss at dinner. The bathroom has mints in it. How appreciative is that! I ALWAYS judge a place by it's restroom, and the quality of that was excellent. Furthermore, the booth was comfortable, and lighting was well-done (you don't feel as though you're in a warehouse, but it feels like a mix of an old country diner and modern day bar), and the service was very friendly. Some random guy I didn't even know said hi as we crossed paths. Small town Ohio, right? Food was top-notch. I am a mega fan of western burgers, and they really slathered the BBQ on this one. The Jalapeño peppers stuffed with cream cheese and buffalo was such a pleasant appetizer, too. This place is definitely worth the visit.

The food was tasteful, fresh and hot. The Mushroom burger was on spot for taste and juicyness. The meatball trio was OMG soo good. The cheesecake a slice of heaven. Our waitress Kelli, friendly and attentive of our needs best waitress I have had in a long time anywhere.

My husband and I were in town for the show choir competition and needed a place to get dinner. The place was slammed when we got there, but the staff greeted us and got us seated quickly. The owner, Vince, and the staff went above and beyond. And the food was great! Thank you Vine and staff for the amazing experience!! If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely stop in!

In town for a soccer game and needed something quick and filling and Jackie Ray’s fit the bill. Food was good and the service was great. The owner took the time to sit down and tell us the local history. Very glad we found this place!

Stopped in this evening after our daughter's Christmas program, and what a lovely gem in Ashville! I LOVE a good salman salad and theirs was excellent. Unfortunately our dinner was cut a little short because our 3 y/o started throwing up but the staff was SO HELPFUL, the owner visited our table and told us about the history of the town and the building before the chaos. And even he jumped in to help us and help clean up. We will be back! This is our new favorite place

This is one of the best restaurants I've ever had the pleasure of eating at. Vince and his crew are awesome. The crab and corn chowder was absolutely perfect, and the lasagna was out of this world. Awesome food at an awesome price. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you Vince for a remarkable dining experience!

This is a jewel. Excellent food. Wish I'd known of this place sooner. Owner greets everyone. Just off main road. Better than any palace on Springtown and easy to find. Our new go-to place. Love how owner cares and invested in blue and red lights on top of grain silo. Such a nice touch for the area.

Went there for a late dinner and by the time we got our food I was almost asleep. We must have waited 30 to 40 minutes for nachos, a Cuban with fries, and a chicken/crab dinner. The nachos were what my 11 year old wanted. It looked like a large portion and he liked them he wished there was more meat. My wife had the chicken dish and she said it was really good. However, her sides were cold. My Cuban was so so and the fries better than average. Our waitress was very nice and continously checked on us even though we waited so long for our food. Maybe the wait was because there was a large party at the table next to ours I don't know. It was very clean and the decor pleasant and cozy. $47 dollars total and I had one IPA so I guess that's average Update 3/10/20 New Owners! Wow stopped by for an early dinner with my son. He tried the Fish & Chips & I had the Blue Cheeseburger. Both came with fries and his had a side of slaw. The fish was good and fries hot and tasty. The burger was really good too. Slaw was ok. Price was $41 and I had a couple craft beers. The service was great and the staff very friendly. We will definitely be back. A nice improvement from my previous visit.
